The last movement of Mozart's Piano Sonata No. 11, this piece was inspired by the music of Turkish marching bands. In Mozart's day this piece was often performed on a piano which had a 'Turkish Stop': a knee operated device that added percussive embellishment. But here the two Piccolos take the lead and add colour to this quartet showpiece.
