Devon’s largest flute choir, Flute Cocktail, are marking their 25th Anniversary with a concert at St. Petroc’s Church, Lydford, on May 3rd, 2025. The event will be a double celebration, as the group will give the world premiere of “Landmarks”, a new suite of pieces by prize-winning local composer, Andrew Wilson, commissioned by Flute Cocktail. The suite has four contrasting movements, each inspired by local landmarks on the edge of Dartmoor. The programme will also include favourite music that the group has performed over its long and colourful history.
Tickets are £5 and can be purchased on the door, or in advance from Wonderful Winds.
The concert starts at 7.00pm and there will be an interval with refreshments. Profits will be shared between Flute Cocktail and St. Petroc’s Church.
