SEARCHING THE WEBSITE

How can I find what I need?
The catalogue on the top menu bar is an excellent place to start. Just make a note of the reference number of any piece you’re interested in (e.g. A003b) and type it into the search box (click the magnifying glass); this will take you to the product, where you can find out more about the piece, its grading, view a sample page and listen to a clip/watch a video.
You can also browse products by specific instrumentations either by scrolling down the home page and clicking the button on the picture, or clicking on “music “ on the top menu bar. Click to select the group (e.g. Oboe Trio) then browse through. The pieces are listed alphabetically by reference number, corresponding to the lists in the catalogue.
You can also type specific search terms into the search box such as “Vivaldi C Flutes”.
If you need help, don’t hesitate to call or email – I know all the pieces intimately and am always happy to guide you towards the perfect piece!

How are the pieces graded?
Our music is graded from 0 to 9, roughly equating to ABRSM/Trinity College exam grades. These gradings are approximate and subjective - a piece graded at 5-6 may be a beautiful addition to an advanced programme!

Hard copies
You will receive an auto email confirming your order, and then I will email you personally to tell you when your music will be in the post. Most orders are sent the same day or next working day. Small orders to the UK are posted 1st class, with a delivery aim of 1 to 2 days; larger orders may be sent by Parcel Force 24 hour. Orders to other countries are sent International Standard, with a delivery aim of 3-5 working days for Europe, and 7-10 working days elsewhere in the World.
If you would like a faster, tracked method of delivery you must email us at the same time as you order; we can then give you a quote, and bill you for the extra cost.

Packaging
Wonderful Winds is committed to using recycled packaging wherever possible. We are partners with One Tree Planted (you can donate if you wish when you order) and using recycled packaging helps us to donate to OTP every time a customer donates. If you would prefer brand new packaging let us know on ordering.

Can you send me a rehearsal backing track?
Rehearsal backing tracks are available for most pieces. These all have a click count in to help with virtual rehearsals, and are a basic recording of all the parts. Prices range from £3.00-£5.00 depending on the number of movements in the set. We can also make additional slowed down tracks for £1.00. You can add a backing track when you buy a piece, or buy them separately, and they will be sent by email, usually within 24 hours. EMAIL Mel - mail@wonderfulwinds.com with your requirements.

How does PDF delivery work?
You will receive an auto email confirming your order, and also another automated email containing the link to your download. If you use multiple email addresses please check them all, (and your junk/spam folders) if you don’t see your download email). You get 3 tries at downloading, and the link expires after 2 weeks. Any problems, just get in touch. Please note, these download links/files are for your own personal use and it is ILLEGAL to share them.

Can I buy any piece as a pdf?
Only those which say (PDF DOWNLOAD) are available as PDFs for copyright reasons. The licences for the other pieces are for hard copies only, so we are not allowed to sell them as PDFs.

Can I return my music if it is unsuitable?
You may return printed music for exchange or refund of the music cost with 14 days of delivery. Refunds will only be issued if the music is received back in mint condition; music  that has been marked or damaged in any way is not eligible for refund, so please use sturdy packaging, and obtain a free proof of posting receipt when you send it.
We do not offer returns/refunds on digital downloads.

What do I do if my music arrives damaged, or doesn’t arrive at all?
Just email or call and we will send a replacement.

COPYRIGHT

Can I share PDFS?

No. It is illegal to:
- copy/share PDFs of our music.
- print multiple copies of a solo part for students to use.
- print and/or share pages with other people.
- put the score and/or parts of a piece online/on a cloud system for use by either a restricted or      unrestricted audience.
- to share your PFDs with another group.
If you need to email a single  part to a player in your group you can split the file using an online splitter or programme such as ilovepdf or PDFSam, or simply “print to pdf” the appropriate pages for the part required.

Can I photocopy parts for my group?
If your group has multiple players on each part, or if you are using the music for a play day or one-off ensemble we are happy for you to photocopy spare parts for use in rehearsals or concerts. We ask that you take all the copies in afterwards to prevent full sets being reused illegally.

Can I rearrange the piece for different instruments?
No. It is illegal to rearrange music that is not public domain without the permission of the copyright holder. None of our music is public domain, as we hold the copyright for each piece and/or have obtained a licence for the arrangement. We can however sometimes rearrange pieces to suit your group or transpose parts for a reasonable fee. Just email us to find out more.

Can I put a video of a performance on the internet?
We are always delighted to have videos of our music online for others to view, but you need to ask permission before posting, and credit Wonderful Winds and the arranger, preferably in the video, or anywhere you share it. If we like it we may use it on our website, with your permission.

Can I post a video of a performance with images/video of the sheet music alongside?
No, this is illegal.
